What to do – Coast & Country
There are so much to do in this area so we have divided some suggestions into exploring the Country and Coastal venues.
Near-by Lake St Cassien is a very famous for its fishing of carp, trench, crayfish, pike, trout, catfish … but it is also possible to hire a canoe, pedalo, rowing boat or just go swimming. There are many restaurants situated all around the lake for lunch, dinner or just a snack on shady terraces with stunning views of the lake.
The spectacular Gorges de Verdon and it’s Lac Sainte Croix are approx. 45 minutes drive, offering white water rafting, canoeing, bungee jumping, hiking, etc.

For lovers of hiking, there are several clubs in the town and in the summer, nature walks with offered commentary. There are many possibilities for walks, the town is heavily wooded. The tourist office also offers a guidebook of marked hiking and trail maps.
At the heart of the village, the game of pétanque is accessible to all.
At the near-by villages of Montauroux, Seillans, St Paul en Forêt and Mons, there are riding schools.
